the aviator The aviator is the story of Howard Hughes. The movie protrays him as a wealthy man and he used his wealth to pursue his interests. Movies, aircraft women were his passion. He spend lavishly on the movies and even garnered Oscars. He also set up an aircraft company called Hughes Aircraft company where he built and piloted new aircrafts. He even broke the world record for the fastest man alive. Other records included flying around the world in three days. His hollywood adventure extended to the leading ladies of his day like Katharine Hepburn and Ava Gardner amongst others. He also went into airline industry and bought TWA. He had to battle with his opponent Pam Am. He tested new planes and risk his life too as his planes crashed but he survived. Major government contracts to build aircraft also failed.He was so afraid of germs to the extend he couldn't even touch dirty things and isolated himself. At one point, he locked himself and was completely naked in his room.
